Diane and Jim Anderson in Lima Hello Gavin,

Five weeks in South America and we joke that we received "more for less." Our questions were always promptly and thoroughly answered. This service was so much better than buying a packaged tour!

Dear Staci,

Many thanks for organizing my weekend in Iguazu. The Orchideas hotel was fine as were the guides on the Saturday (Hector) and on Sunday (Toto). I was surprised how few of the other tourists were English speaking...not being conversant in Spanish was certainly a handicap in Argentina!

Please find attached a selection of photos from my trip to Iguazu Falls (viewed from Argentinean & Brazilian sides) plus the bird park in Brazil. The creatures featured are the toco toucan, red breasted toucan, tuiuiu (black headed, long legged bird), plush-crested jay, Iguazu iguana, lizards (identity unknown) and macaws. The plush-crested jays and unidentified lizards were seen 'in the wild' as were many tame coatimundi, the occasional capuchin monkey and many exotic colourful butterflies which I was unable to identify until I bought a book about Misiones butterflies!

Chau for now!

Very best wishes,

Dear Argentina for Less,

This was one memorable trip and your company made it smooth.. I would have never organize a trip like that on my own! I'll definitely use your company again and recommend it to my friends. Top notch operation. I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the job well done.

Hi Kristina,

Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to share our thoughts and experiences. Thanks for everything you did to make our trip so enjoyable.

From our initial communication with AFL, we have been impressed with the agency's professionalism, flexibility, efficiency, attention to detail, care, and kindness. Although there was a change in personnel midstream, the transition was seamless. Even though we had a few specific needs due to health issues, all needs were attended to in each destination.

As seasoned and independent travelers, we have never chosen to "go" with an agency for arrangements or tours. We asked AFL to arrange our ground, domestic air, and they included some tours with the package.

The success of our trip was beyond our expectations. Having never traveled to Argentina before, we found AFL to be extremely helpful and accommodating - even when we wanted to make changes during the trip.

Argentina is a beautiful land with wonderful people. We spent three fantastic weeks exploring just three areas and came away wanting more - and soon. Much of the success of our trip is due to the work of Hayley, at first, and then Kristina - both of whom were pleasant, knowledgeable, extremely accommodating, and caring.

We will not hesitate to recommend AFL to any travelers we know who may want to explore South America.

Thanks again for everything.

Dear Rylee,

I am happy to report that our trip was wonderful. All of your arrangements went according to plan and we really were able to make the most of every minute of our time in Peru. All of your team; the meeters and greeters, the guides and drivers, were helpful courteous and knowledgeable.

It is hard to pick out highlights from a visit that included the Amazon jungle, Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley- all so very different and all such a great experience. I particularly enjoyed the view over the jungle at sunset from the high platform at our jungle lodge - spectacular! I would recommend Peru for Less to any of my friends - in fact I already have! Thanks again for making this a trip of a lifetime.

Dear Argentina For Less,

In Rio de Janeiro

Can't imagine traveling to South America without all the V.I.P. assistance rendered to my wife and I in making the complicated itinerary actually work, with amazingly smooth connections. Too many things could go wrong as we tall Americans stand out so easily in just dealing with security just as a starter and having a multitude of staff representatives meeting us at airports and train stations, supervising next day's tours with special planning meetings and in hosting us with private drivers daily along with private tour guides who all spoke English fluently. All of our friends were particularly scared to death that we were going to San Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But your Rio de Janeiro representative quickly settled that issue ten minutes after checking in at the hotel. He succinctly gave us specific do's and don'ts and we were completely safe during all of our free time as we freely walked, eat (never got sick) and shopped all over both day and night as the fashions in Rio are trend setting. And above all, Argentina for Less gave us the best customization possible in making the itinerary so dynamic and fulfilling and all within a minimum amount of visitation time in each city and country. Our trip was incredibly successful in three different countries: Chile, Brazil and Peru. And in every instance, the coordination of details and execution were impeccably accurate regardless of the country visited. Success at every stage was achieved regardless of location, the weather, the country and/or the time of day or night we traveled and were sight-seeing. In summary, my wife and I are veteran international travelers to four continents and we will never travel to South America without Argentina For Less for the many reasons cited above.

Hello Argentina For Less,

Coreen Brown Travel

I am a travel agent for Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Cruises. I have used Argentina For Less before for my clients. When I was on a South America Antarctica Cruise, they were referred to me by a group of passengers that have used them with great satisfaction. Online business - you have to be careful, but they have been around for a long time. They also have an actual business presence (building) that a group of staff work from.

I was going alone, as a woman, to Buenos Aires so I wanted to be escorted for safety reasons. Their service was outstanding. Their hotel choices were excellent and everything was taken care of. As a travel agent, I always arrange tours/escorts for clients and I have to say it was SO nice to do it for myself. I was not left in a lurch at all. I was met at the cruise pier and escorted directly to my hotel AND checked-in as well. After some time on my own, a city tour was arranged, where I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel. I had a friend in Buenos Aires from the ship so I made my way around with her and her family until the next day. Then, I was personally picked up and escorted to my flight to Iguazu Falls right through to check-in.

I was met at the airport at the falls and escorted, then personally checked into my hotel. Next day my driver and tour guide picked me up and I was given a personal tour of the Iguazu Falls National Park. What a treat and an intense experience. I was then personally taken back to my hotel with time on my own and picked up in the morning, escorted back to the airport, and checked in there as well.

Marissa then picked me up at the airport right on time and took care of me to get me to the international airport where I was checked in again and then off to Canada I went. I cannot recommend a better land tour operator. GAP Adventures is great, but this was even better and the price was much better as well, but not cheap. I don't buy cheap as what you pay is what you get.

Please be assured that this is a great opportunity for you to work with them. I recommend them 100 percent and I know you will be well taken care of. I have also copied this email to my business email address, should you need assistance with this booking. I can do the booking for you at no extra charge and make some personal recommendations as well to assist you if you wish. Let me know.

Hello Rylee,

Brier Miron

We did a 5-day Mendoza Tour through Peru For Less. We have done many tours in different parts of the world and this was the best tour experience of all. We had a private tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable about Argentina, and Mendoza in particular. The first day we spent relaxing in Mendoza. Our hotel had a wonderful spa service, which was great after a long flight. The second day we were taken to three wineries in Mendoza. Our tour guide picked us up at the hotel in a private car. This personal service was like VIP treatment. At each winery, we were given an in-depth tour of the wine making process. We spent the night at a beautiful winery with friendly staff and a 5-star quality restaurant. The third day we went to three more wineries, ranging from small to large production. The fourth day was a trip up into the Andes Mountain Range. Although the road trip took 3 hours, it was completely worth it. The view and scenery was absolutely gorgeous. We were able to see Mt. Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in all the Americas. The fifth day was a city tour of Mendoza. The overall experience was great! This tour is perfect for anyone, especially for wine lovers. I will definitely use Peru For Less the next time I am in South America for vacation. Thanks,
Brier Miron

Hi Daniel,

Ernst Goetschi

It has indeed been a while since our holiday in Argentina.

We all had a fantastic time and enjoyed Buenos Aires tremendously. We walked for miles exploring your parks, cemetery, museums and shops. The food was lovely and we found some excellent restaurants nearby.

The flat we rented was very comfortable and we enjoyed all the facilities it offers.

The highlight of the trip was the excursion to Iguazu. It is spectacular and amazingly beautiful. I recommend it to everybody.

Some day I am sure we will be back.

Abby and Liz,

Thanks for putting together a great itinerary. I had a fabulous time. Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Santiago de Chile each were exciting and interesting in their own way and greatly exceeded my expectations. All of the guides were interesting people, well versed in their subject matter, pleasant to be with and punctual. Particular compliments go to Maria Lara in Buenos Aires who takes her responsibilities very seriously and has a true depth of knowledge of Argentina and its history.

Las Pampas, Patagonia, Colombia and Peru are all on our future plans, so I am sure we will be contacting you in the future. Thanks again.

Dear Aimee,

We have enjoyed the trip very much. All the hotel accommodations as well as the Iberostar boat Grand Amazon were excellent.

In Foz de Iguasu we were taken care of by our tour guide. His friendly performance was exceptional. He toured with us on our arrival to the Brazilian side of the falls and did the same next day in Argentina. The following morning we were scheduled to leave for Manaus but our flight was cancelled because of fog. The next flight was six hours later and as a consequence we would miss the departure of the Grand Amazon from Manaus. Our tour guide contacted offices in Rio and Manaus and arranged us a hotel stay and a motorboat the next morning to take us to the ship. It took several hours but he did not leave us until he was sure that all had been arranged.

In Manaus, we were expected by another tour guide and after a night in the Tropical Hotel we were taken by a Grand Amazon motorboat to the ship. The ship is like a five-star hotel and the crew was outstanding in their effort to please the passengers.

The last day in Manaus was again very pleasant. Our tour guide gave us a city tour and escorted us to the airport.

In conclusion we enjoyed the trip more than we expected. We thank you very much for your help to arrange the trip.

With best wishes,
Aivars
