El Puma offers the most comfortable accommodations in El Chalten. The hotel sits back from the main road and faces out toward snowy peaks. Inside, warm beige walls and wooden beams interplay with local brick and are offset with soft cotton curtains and ironwork. Although the common areas have terra-cotta ceramic floors, all rooms are carpeted. The rooms are well designed and bright; the lounge has a few chairs that face a roaring fire.
