Built in Denmark in 1992, the Ocean Nova cruise ship is modern with excellent safety features and extremely comfortable living areas and cabins, making it the ideal ship to enjoy both adventure and luxury. With a spectacular observation lounge with full view windows, a cozy dining room and bar, a well-equipped presentation room for lectures, and more, the Ocean Nova provides all types of entertainment to keep its passengers satisfied.
The crew staff includes 38 members, including talented chefs who prepare delicious, fresh, and varied meals every day, as well as naturalists, biologists, and other scientists available to provide lectures about the fantastic Antarctic region during the cruise. Passengers can also take advantage of the fully stocked library with polar-themed books.
The boat is equipped with a boarding deck and zodiac boats that permit on-shore excursions, as well as an exercise room and a small medical clinic with a licensed doctor in case of emergency.
Cabin Amenities
The Ocean Nova feature 38 well kept cabins all equipped with private facilities, comfortable furniture, and ample living space. Cabins are divided between single, twin, and triple cabins distributed over 4 decks. All cabins feature a cupboard, a wardrobe, a writing desk and chair, as well as outside windows. All bathrooms feature a shower, toilet, washbasin, hook, mirror, and shelf.
