Day 1 : Arrival to Mendoza & Mendoza Tour
- You will be greeted at the airport or bus station by an Argentina For Less representative who will take you to your confirmed Mendoza hotel.
- After settling in, you’ll be met by your English-speaking tour guide for a fascinating city tour.
- You’ll start in the historic center to see where the city was founded, continuing on to the Barrio Civico and Parque General San Martin.
- From here, you will tour Cerro de la Gloria hill, the Mundialista Stadium, and the Frank Romero Day Amphitheatre, which is the location of the annual Fiesta de la Vendimia (grape harvest festival).
- In the late afternoon, you will return to your Mendoza hotel and will have the remainder of the day to spend at your leisure.
Day 2 : Full Day Mendoza Trekking Tour
- Your guide will meet you at your hotel at 9 a.m. and you’ll take a 35-minute drive to Blanco Encalada, a lovely viewpoint located at 4,600 feet (1,402 meters).
- From here, you will begin the two-hour walk to Cerro Negro, an impressive 6,800 foot (2,072 meters) high mountain. Once you reach the summit, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the majestic Andes, the Mendoza River, the Tupungato Volcano, and the city of Mendoza.
- Continue onwards and upwards to Mogote San Martin, another 650 feet (198 meters) up for more stunning views. You will eat your packed lunch here.
- You will return to your Mendoza hotel in the late afternoon. Relax and enjoy a free evening in your hotel or explore the city on your own.
Day 3 : Half Day Mendoza Wine Tour
- In the morning, you will have some time to explore the city on your own before embarking on an exciting and flavor-filled Mendoza wine tour through the agricultural and grape-growing areas of Mendoza.
- You will visit a number of local vineyards and have the opportunity to taste their delicious products and gain insights into the world of viticulture. Your guides will explain the technique of wine tasting and demonstrate the correct way to handle a glass to get the full flavor of the wine.
- After the tour, you will return to your Mendoza hotel where you will be able to spend the evening at your leisure.
