Diane and Jim Anderson in Lima Hello Gavin,

Five weeks in South America and we joke that we received "more for less." Our questions were always promptly and thoroughly answered. This service was so much better than buying a packaged tour!

Bariloche Mountains, Bariloche Tours, Argentina Tours, Argentina Vacations, Argentina Travel, Argentina For Less

On the shores of the 216 square mile glacier fed Nahuel Huapi Lake, sits the town of San Carlos de Bariloche.  Bariloche is now a famous winter ski resort with one of South America’s coolest ski areas, Cerro Catedral, on its outskirts.  This first class tourist center was founded by Swiss and German settlers and totes modern interpretations of its ancestors’ architecture.  Bariloche maintains to this day the echo of a chalet style alpine town. Chalet style restaurants serve superb fresh seafood from the lake, in addition to wild boar and a variety of fondues. The magnificent surrounding landscape presents multiple alternatives for the most varied of outdoor interests; Bariloche is ideal for the traveler that enjoys adventure, fishing, skiing, and trekking.  So come in the winter to ski or visit during the summers to hike, boat and fish in this Argentinean paradise.
